NCT03766399: Participants were randomized to AZD0449 or placebo with blinding maintained across most of the many dose cohorts, but the trial's primary measures were safety and drug-level data rather than an asthma outcome, and adverse events were only reported as counts with no formal statistical test. Nearly all reported adverse events were mild, with none serious and no deaths in any of the sixteen study groups.
