Evidence outlook · lead readout
NCT04165096 · Carcinoma, Non-Small-Cell Lung
The reported results come from study designs that frequently fail to replicate under controlled conditions — see the rationale below.
NCT04165096: This is a randomized but open-label phase 2 substudy without a placebo or pembrolizumab-alone control arm; all three arms pair pembrolizumab with different investigational agents, and the results for the 37-patient boserolimab arm are reported descriptively (ORR 5.4%, 95% CI 0.7-18.2) with no statistical comparison or p-value. The primary endpoint was not shown to be met, and the small, unblinded, uncontrolled design cannot provide strong or moderate evidence for boserolimab.
