Type 2 Diabetes: registrational readout pending

Entered Phase 3 on partial signal mid-stage evidence. Registrational readout expected around 2028-09.

NCT05762471: The study randomized 142 participants to GSBR-1290 or placebo with participants, care providers, and investigators masked. Because the primary safety endpoint has no posted results, whether it was met is unknown; the available design supports moderate evidence but not a strong positive conclusion.

Registered primary endpoint is safety/tolerability; the weight results are the phase 2a obesity cohort's efficacy readout from the sponsor's SEC-filed topline release, not yet peer reviewed.
