CKD-701
Monoclonal antibody
Evidence outlook · lead readout
NCT04857177 · Neovascular(Wet) Age Related Macular Degeneration
The completed lead evidence has the design features that historically survive confirmatory trials: randomized, controlled, and adequately powered against a prespecified clinically accepted endpoint.
NCT04857177: In this randomized, double-blind, active-controlled Phase 3 trial, 312 patients with wet AMD were randomized to CKD-701 or the reference biologic Lucentis (ranibizumab). The proportion of patients avoiding significant vision loss was nearly identical between groups (97.95% vs 98.62%), and the difference fell entirely within the trial's prespecified equivalence margin.
