Brolucizumab-Dbll

Marketed by Novartis

Approved in Age-Related Macular Degenerationantibody fragment (scFv)
Weak signal

NCT05672979 · Phase 3 · status unknown

This is a single-arm, unblinded study with no placebo or active comparator, so it cannot establish how much of any visual acuity change is attributable to brolucizumab itself. Results are not yet available.

CKD-701

Developed by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical

Phase 3 in Age-Related Macular Degenerationmonoclonal antibody
Reliable signal

NCT04857177 · Phase 3 · completed

In this randomized, double-blind, active-controlled Phase 3 trial, 312 patients with wet AMD were randomized to CKD-701 or the reference biologic Lucentis (ranibizumab). The proportion of patients avoiding significant vision loss was nearly identical between groups (97.95% vs 98.62%), and the difference fell entirely within the trial's prespecified equivalence margin.
