DAVICI (NCT02393612) · Peripheral Arterial Disease
The completed lead evidence has the design features that historically survive confirmatory trials: randomized, controlled, and adequately powered against a prespecified clinically accepted endpoint.
DAVICI (NCT02393612): This randomized, triple-blind, active-controlled trial in 151 patients with peripheral arterial disease compared a once-daily sarpogrelate formulation with the established three-times-daily formulation over 12 weeks and found the once-daily version met its prespecified non-inferiority margin for reducing leg pain, with no meaningful differences on secondary measures.
