NCT02551679: This was a real randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, but its primary outcome, a composite of wound worsening, amputation, or death, was numerically worse rather than better in the group that received ACP-01, and this difference did not reach statistical significance (hazard ratio 2.05, 95% CI 0.58 to 7.26, p=0.258).
