NCT05027074 · End-Stage Renal Disease, End-Stage Kidney Disease, Kidney Failure, Chronic
The lead readout missed its primary endpoint. The grade and rationale below record what the trial was designed to show and what it found.
NCT05027074: This was a well-designed, randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled trial with an adequate sample size (506 participants) and a hard clinical primary endpoint of arteriovenous graft thrombosis. However, the primary endpoint comparison was not statistically significant for either dose tested, so despite the rigorous design, the evidence is inconclusive for a beneficial effect and is graded as moderate.
