NCT01970501: In this quadruple-blind, randomized, active-controlled trial, 267 participants received either bucindolol or metoprolol succinate. The hard clinical primary endpoint was not met: time to symptomatic atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter or death was similar between groups (hazard ratio 1.02, p=0.905).
