Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: registrational readout pending
Entered Phase 3 on reliable signal mid-stage evidence. The registry's posted readout date (2023-12) has passed without a status update. Check News for topline announcements.
NCT01270386: This was a randomized, quadruple-blinded, placebo-controlled trial with 136 patients and progression-free survival as the primary endpoint. Apatinib significantly extended progression-free survival compared with placebo (median 4.7 vs 1.9 months), with higher response and disease-control rates as well.
Primary data exist only as an ASCO 2012 conference abstract; figures are quoted from a peer-reviewed pooled analysis citing that abstract.
