NCT05318976: This trial was properly randomized, quadruple-blinded, placebo-controlled, and enrolled a reasonably large cohort (207 patients) with a clinically meaningful cognitive endpoint (EMACC), which are all hallmarks of strong design. However, the posted primary-endpoint data show no statistically significant benefit was reported, and the raw numbers do not show the drug outperforming placebo, so the trial cannot be counted as positive evidence for the drug despite its otherwise solid design.
