Evidence outlook · lead readout
NCT04033354 · Squamous Non Small Cell Lung Cancer
The completed lead evidence has the design features that historically survive confirmatory trials: randomized, controlled, and adequately powered against a prespecified clinically accepted endpoint.
NCT04033354: In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial of 537 patients with advanced squamous non-small-cell lung cancer, adding serplulimab to platinum-based chemotherapy significantly extended progression-free survival compared with chemotherapy plus placebo, and overall survival was also significantly improved at final analysis.
