NCT03776175: Participants were randomly assigned and participants, care providers, and investigators were masked; the PF-06865571 monotherapy arm included 28 participants and was compared with 14 placebo participants. The primary MRI-PDFF endpoint was statistically favorable for PF-06865571 versus placebo, but it measured liver fat as a surrogate outcome, so the evidence is considered moderate rather than strong.
