Head-to-head evidence
UB-312 vs UCB7853
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

UB-312
Developed by Vaxxinity
NCT04075318 · Phase 1 · completed
A randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled phase 1 study of the UB-312 vaccine in 70 participants. The design is sound but small, and its primary measures were safety and immunogenicity: anti-alpha-synuclein antibody responses were reported in blood while cerebrospinal-fluid responses were only partial, with no statistical analyses posted, so the primary outcomes read as mixed.
UCB7853
Developed by UCB
NCT04651153 · Phase 1 · completed
This was a randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled study, a sound design for an early safety trial that included both healthy volunteers and Parkinson's disease patients, but its only endpoints were safety-related, and results are not yet posted.
