Ocrelizumab

Marketed by Roche

Approved in Multiple Sclerosismonoclonal antibody
Partial signal

NCT00676715 · Phase 2 · completed

Randomized, double-blind phase 2 in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (220 participants). Both ocrelizumab doses reduced gadolinium-enhancing brain lesions decisively versus placebo (p<0.0001); the endpoint is an MRI biomarker rather than a clinical relapse or disability outcome, which is why the grade is moderate despite the clear result.

Ublituximab

Marketed by TG THERAPEUTICS, INC.

Approved in Multiple Sclerosismonoclonal antibody
Reliable signal

NCT03277261 · Phase 3 · completed

This was a randomized, quadruple-masked, active-controlled trial of 549 participants, with ublituximab and teriflunomide administered alongside matching placebos. The primary clinical endpoint was met: ublituximab produced a significantly lower annualized relapse rate than teriflunomide through 96 weeks (p<0.0001).

Next expected readout: October 2026 · NCT07211633 (registry estimate)
