CS1001 Monoclonal Antibody

Developed by CStone Pharmaceuticals

Phase 3 in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancermonoclonal antibody
Reliable signal

NCT03728556 · Phase 3 · completed

In this randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial, 381 patients with stage III lung cancer who had completed chemoradiotherapy were randomized to sugemalimab or placebo. Sugemalimab significantly reduced the risk of progression or death compared with placebo (median progression-free survival 10.5 vs 6.2 months).

Approved in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancermonoclonal antibody
Reliable signal

NCT02125461 · Phase 3 · completed

Patients were randomly assigned in a 2:1 ratio and quadruple-blinded to durvalumab or matching placebo, with 476 receiving durvalumab and 237 placebo. The prespecified primary clinical endpoints were met: progression-free survival was 16.8 versus 5.6 months (HR 0.52, p<0.0001), and overall survival also favored durvalumab (HR 0.68, p=0.00251).
