The study was a randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 134 participants receiving budesonide and 147 receiving placebo. Its primary endpoint was a clinical-and-endoscopic remission measure, and the comparison significantly favored budesonide at week 6 (44.0% vs 22.4%, p<0.0001).
