Randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 433 patients with Alzheimer's-related agitation. Using a stepwise testing order, the 2mg dose narrowly beat placebo on the primary agitation scale, with a confidence interval that nearly touched zero, while the 1mg dose showed no benefit over placebo at all.
