NCT01564537 · Phase 3 · completed

Participants were randomly assigned and quadruple-blinded to ixazomib plus lenalidomide and dexamethasone or matching placebo plus lenalidomide and dexamethasone, with 360 and 362 participants, respectively. The hard clinical primary endpoint of independently assessed progression-free survival was met: median progression-free survival was 20.6 versus 14.7 months, with a statistically significant difference between groups (p=0.012).
