The trial was randomized, quadruple-blinded, and placebo-controlled, with 623 participants assigned to aripiprazole lauroxil 441 mg, 882 mg, or placebo. Its primary clinical symptom endpoint, change in PANSS total score at day 85, was significantly better with both active doses than with placebo (p<0.001 for each comparison).
