Evidence outlook · lead readout
NCT03850483 · Psoriasis
The lead readout missed its primary endpoint. The grade and rationale below record what the trial was designed to show and what it found.
NCT03850483: This was a randomized, quadruple-blinded, vehicle-controlled Phase 2 dose-ranging study in 344 adults with plaque psoriasis, using a well-established clinical endpoint (change in PASI at Week 12). However, the primary endpoint was not met: every active-dose comparison against vehicle was non-significant (p-values from 0.105 to 0.610), with LS mean differences of only -0.2 to -0.8 points. Because the trial was methodologically strong but its primary comparison was negative, the evidence is moderate rather than strong.
