Reliable signal

NCT03745638 · Phase 3 · completed

This was a randomized, quadruple-blinded, vehicle-controlled Phase 3 trial with 631 participants, comparing two doses of ruxolitinib cream against placebo. The primary endpoint was a clinician-assessed measure of disease severity (IGA treatment success at Week 8), and the comparison was met decisively: both ruxolitinib groups achieved significantly higher response rates than vehicle (50.0% and 53.8% vs 15.1%, each p<0.0001). The sample size was adequate, treatment assignment was concealed, and the hard clinical endpoint clearly favored active treatment.

Next expected readout: August 2027 · NCT07661979 (registry estimate)
