Head-to-head evidence

NNC0491-6075 vs Solbinsiran

Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

NNC0491-6075

Developed by Novo Nordisk

Phase 1 in Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Diseaseunknown/undisclosed
Partial signal

NCT05979428 · Phase 1 · completed

Participants were randomly assigned to drug or placebo under quadruple-blind conditions across ascending-dose cohorts, a sound early-safety design, but the primary measure was the number of adverse events rather than a clinical or lipid outcome, and results have not yet been reported.

Solbinsiran

Developed by Eli Lilly

Phase 2 in Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular DiseaseRNAi (siRNA)
Partial signal

NCT05256654 · Phase 2 · completed

The study randomized 205 participants to three solbinsiran doses or placebo and masked both participants and investigators. Its primary endpoint was a laboratory biomarker rather than a hard clinical outcome, and the ApoB comparison was mixed across doses: significant for 400 mg but not for 100 mg or 800 mg, supporting moderate evidence rather than the highest grade.

Next expected readout: March 2027 · NCT07269210 (registry estimate)
