Melevodopa/carbidopa (Sirio)
Developed by Chiesi Farmaceutici
NCT00491998 · Phase 1/2 · completed
The study was randomized and double-blind, with a planned enrollment of 27 participants and a comparison with standard levodopa/carbidopa tablets. Registry results were not posted at the time of grading; the key result shown was recovered from the cited external source.
ND0612
Developed by NeuroDerm Ltd.
NCT02577523 · Phase 2 · completed
Participants were randomized to two ND0612 regimens, but the study was only single-blinded for outcome assessors, had no placebo or active-control arm, and was small with 19 participants per group. The clinical primary endpoint was daily OFF time; although the 24-hour regimen showed a numerically greater reduction, statistical significance for the comparison was not reported, so the result is unclear.
