Lurasidone vs Paliperidone palmitate (CSPC)

Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

Lurasidone

Marketed by Sumitomo Pharma

Approved in Schizophreniasmall molecule
Reliable signal

NCT00549718 · Phase 3 · completed

The study randomized approximately 500 participants to lurasidone 40, 80, or 120 mg or placebo and used quadruple masking of participants, clinicians, investigators, and outcome assessors.
