Loxapine (Adasuve) vs Risperidone (Uzedy)
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

Loxapine (Adasuve)
Marketed by Lee's Pharmaceutical
NCT00628589 · Phase 3 · completed
The trial randomly assigned 344 participants to inhaled loxapine 5 mg, loxapine 10 mg, or placebo and used quadruple blinding of participants, care providers, investigators, and outcome assessors. Its primary clinical agitation measure was significantly improved with both loxapine doses compared with placebo (p=0.0004 and p<0.0001).
Risperidone (Uzedy)
Marketed by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries
NCT03503318 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 544 participants assigned to placebo, monthly TV-46000, or every-two-month TV-46000. The hard clinical primary endpoint was time to impending relapse, and it was statistically significantly favorable for both monthly treatment (13/183 vs 53/181; p<0.0001) and every-two-month treatment (23/179 vs 53/181; p<0.0001).
