Marketed by AbbVie

Approved in Parkinson's Diseasesmall molecule
Weak signal

NCT00335153 · Phase 3 · completed

This was a 354-participant, open-label, single-group study with no randomization, blinding, or comparator arm. Its primary outcomes focused on safety and device complications, and there was no formal controlled primary efficacy comparison, so the reported secondary improvements do not establish treatment efficacy.

ND0612

Developed by NeuroDerm Ltd.

Phase 3 in Parkinson's Diseasesmall molecule
Partial signal

NCT02577523 · Phase 2 · completed

Participants were randomized to two ND0612 regimens, but the study was only single-blinded for outcome assessors, had no placebo or active-control arm, and was small with 19 participants per group. The clinical primary endpoint was daily OFF time; although the 24-hour regimen showed a numerically greater reduction, statistical significance for the comparison was not reported, so the result is unclear.
