The randomized, quadruple-masked, placebo-controlled trial enrolled 424 participants and evaluated clinical skin outcomes as its two primary endpoints. At Week 16, both endpoints were met: IGA 0/1 response was 43.1% with lebrikizumab versus 12.7% with placebo (p<0.000001), and EASI-75 response was 58.8% versus 16.2% (p<0.000001).

The 235 participants were randomized 2:1 to tralokinumab or placebo and the initial 16-week comparison was double-blinded. The primary clinical endpoint—an Investigator’s Global Assessment score of 0 or 1 at Week 16—was met, occurring in 40.0% of the tralokinumab group versus 10.6% of the placebo group (p<.001).
