This is a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled phase 1 study in 92 healthy volunteers testing single and multiple ascending doses of JX09, with safety and tolerability as the primary focus rather than a disease efficacy measure. Results have not been posted.

In this 195-participant randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, the primary clinical endpoint was met: pooled CIN-107 reduced seated systolic blood pressure by 15.22 mmHg versus 7.15 mmHg with placebo, a between-group difference of 8.08 mmHg (p=0.003). The trial had a substantial sample size and the primary comparison was statistically significant in the favorable direction.
