Head-to-head evidence
JT-001 vs Rosiglitazone
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

JT-001
Developed by Jeil Pharmaceutical
NCT05101135 · Phase 3 · status unknown
This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial enrolled 256 patients and measured change in HbA1c, a standard diabetes efficacy measure, at 24 weeks. JT-001 significantly reduced HbA1c versus placebo (p<0.0001), and more patients on JT-001 reached HbA1c targets of below 7% and 6.5%.
Rosiglitazone · Avandia
Marketed by GlaxoSmithKline and partners
NCT00279045 · Phase 3 · completed
The study was randomized and compared rosiglitazone with two active treatments in 4,426 participants, but the registry does not describe masking and provides no results for the primary endpoint. Because the outcome is unavailable and the primary measure concerns treatment failure rather than a hard clinical outcome, the evidence is limited despite the large randomized design.
