Head-to-head evidence
JT-001 vs Lobeglitazone
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

JT-001
Developed by Jeil Pharmaceutical
NCT05101135 · Phase 3 · status unknown
This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial enrolled 256 patients and measured change in HbA1c, a standard diabetes efficacy measure, at 24 weeks. JT-001 significantly reduced HbA1c versus placebo (p<0.0001), and more patients on JT-001 reached HbA1c targets of below 7% and 6.5%.
Lobeglitazone · Duvie
Developed by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical
NCT02002611 · Phase 1 · completed
Every participant received both lobeglitazone and warfarin, so there is no separate group showing what would have happened without lobeglitazone, and nobody was blinded to treatment. The measures collected were drug-level readings for a drug-interaction check, not a symptom or disease-based result, so this trial offers only limited evidence about lobeglitazone's own effects.
Next expected readout: September 2029 · NCT07108985 (registry estimate)
