Olutasidenib

Marketed by Rigel Pharmaceuticals

Approved in Acute Myeloid Leukemiasmall molecule
Weak signal

NCT02719574 · Phase 1/2 · completed

This is a single-arm, open-label study with no randomization, no blinding, and no comparator or control arm, and it is not an extension of a prior randomized trial. All enrolled patients received olutasidenib (alone or with azacitidine/cytarabine), and the Phase 2 primary endpoints are descriptive response/remission rates rather than comparisons against a control. Because there is no control group, the results cannot separate drug effect from natural history or patient selection, so the evidence is weak regardless of the reported response rates.
