Its primary clinical symptom endpoint was PANSS-T change, with mean changes of -12.0 for iloperidone versus -7.1 for placebo, but statistical significance of the comparison is not reported, so the result remains unclear.

This was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 354 participants and a clinical primary endpoint measuring change in PANSS total score. The primary endpoint was met for both RBP-7000 doses: PANSS scores improved significantly more than with placebo.
