Head-to-head evidence
HRS-7249 vs Solbinsiran
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

HRS-7249
Developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals
NCT06541457 · Phase 1 · completed
This is a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study, which is a sound design, but its primary measure is adverse-event safety rather than a lipid or cardiovascular efficacy outcome, and no results have been posted yet.
Next expected readout: June 2027 · NCT07308392 (registry estimate)
Solbinsiran
Developed by Eli Lilly
NCT05256654 · Phase 2 · completed
The study randomized 205 participants to three solbinsiran doses or placebo and masked both participants and investigators. Its primary endpoint was a laboratory biomarker rather than a hard clinical outcome, and the ApoB comparison was mixed across doses: significant for 400 mg but not for 100 mg or 800 mg, supporting moderate evidence rather than the highest grade.
Next expected readout: March 2027 · NCT07269210 (registry estimate)
