Evinacumab vs Solbinsiran
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

Evinacumab · Evkeeza
Marketed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals
NCT03399786 · Phase 3 · completed
The trial randomized 65 participants to evinacumab or placebo and masked participants, care providers, investigators, and outcome assessors. Its primary LDL-C endpoint was statistically significantly improved with evinacumab, but LDL-C is a surrogate laboratory endpoint rather than a hard clinical or endoscopic measure.
Solbinsiran
Developed by Eli Lilly
NCT05256654 · Phase 2 · completed
The study randomized 205 participants to three solbinsiran doses or placebo and masked both participants and investigators. Its primary endpoint was a laboratory biomarker rather than a hard clinical outcome, and the ApoB comparison was mixed across doses: significant for 400 mg but not for 100 mg or 800 mg, supporting moderate evidence rather than the highest grade.
