Enlicitide
Marketed by Merck & Co.
NCT05952856 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial in 2,909 adults with hypercholesterolemia. The primary endpoint was the mean percent change in LDL-C from baseline to Week 24, a standard regulator-accepted efficacy measure for lipid-lowering therapy. The active arm achieved a significantly greater LDL-C reduction than placebo (-57.1% vs +3.0%, p<0.001), so the trial met its primary endpoint with a large effect size and low risk of bias.

Recaticimab
Developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals
NCT04849000 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 709 participants, using percentage change in LDL cholesterol as the primary measure. The sponsor reports statistically significant LDL reductions of 45 to 53 percentage points versus placebo across all three dosing regimens.
