Enlicitide
Marketed by Merck & Co.
NCT05952856 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial in 2,909 adults with hypercholesterolemia. The primary endpoint was the mean percent change in LDL-C from baseline to Week 24, a standard regulator-accepted efficacy measure for lipid-lowering therapy. The active arm achieved a significantly greater LDL-C reduction than placebo (-57.1% vs +3.0%, p<0.001), so the trial met its primary endpoint with a large effect size and low risk of bias.

Ongericimab · Junshida
Developed by Shanghai Junshi Bioscience
NCT04781114 · Phase 3 · completed
This large, randomized, placebo-controlled trial kept participants, care providers, investigators and outcome assessors blind to treatment assignment. Its primary endpoint was clearly met: both ongericimab dose regimens produced large, statistically significant reductions in LDL cholesterol versus placebo.
