Enlicitide
Marketed by Merck & Co.
NCT05952856 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial in 2,909 adults with hypercholesterolemia. The primary endpoint was the mean percent change in LDL-C from baseline to Week 24, a standard regulator-accepted efficacy measure for lipid-lowering therapy. The active arm achieved a significantly greater LDL-C reduction than placebo (-57.1% vs +3.0%, p<0.001), so the trial met its primary endpoint with a large effect size and low risk of bias.

Marketed by LIB Therapeutics
NCT04797104 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, quadruple-blind, placebo-controlled trial in 478 patients that measured LDL-cholesterol lowering, the standard efficacy measure for this drug class. Lerodalcibep reduced LDL-C by more than half compared with placebo, a highly statistically significant result.
Next expected readout: July 2028 · NCT07102511 (registry estimate)
