The trial randomized 65 participants to evinacumab or placebo and masked participants, care providers, investigators, and outcome assessors. Its primary LDL-C endpoint was statistically significantly improved with evinacumab, but LDL-C is a surrogate laboratory endpoint rather than a hard clinical or endoscopic measure.
