This was a large, randomized, placebo-controlled trial in which participants, care providers, investigators and outcome assessors were all kept blind to treatment assignment. Its primary endpoint, the reduction in fasting triglycerides, was clearly met, with both olezarsen doses producing a large, statistically significant drop versus placebo.
