Crisugabalin
Developed by Haisco Pharmaceutical Group
NCT04647773 · Phase 2/3 · status unknown
Multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 study (n=450) demonstrating statistically significant pain reduction in DPNP (PMID 39158916).
Mirogabalin
Developed by Daiichi Sankyo
NCT02318706 · Phase 3 · completed
Participants were randomized to three mirogabalin doses or placebo and treatment was double-blinded, with 834 randomized participants. The primary clinical pain endpoint had mixed results: the 30-mg dose was significantly better than placebo, while the 15-mg and 20-mg comparisons were not statistically significant, so the findings provide meaningful but mixed evidence.
Next expected readout: March 2027 · NCT07451431 (registry estimate)
