crisaborole · Eucrisa
Marketed by Pfizer
NCT02118792 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, quadruple-blind, vehicle-controlled trial with 763 participants. Its clinical primary efficacy endpoint—clear or almost clear skin with at least a two-grade improvement at Day 29—was met, with 31.4% success on crisaborole versus 18.0% on vehicle (p<0.001).

NCT03908970 · Phase 3 · completed
This was a randomized, triple-blind (participant, investigator, and care provider), placebo-controlled Phase 3 trial in 364 adult patients with atopic dermatitis. The primary endpoint was the IGA responder rate at Week 4, which was met: 38.46% (95% CI 31.36–45.95) for 1% OPA-15406 versus 12.64% (95% CI 8.18–18.36) for placebo. The trial was adequately powered and used a validated clinical disease activity measure.
Next expected readout: December 2026 · NCT07173478 (registry estimate)
