Head-to-head evidence
AZD0780 vs HRS-1301
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

AZD0780
Developed by AstraZeneca
NCT06173570 · Phase 2 · completed
The study randomized 428 participants to four AZD0780 dose groups or matched placebo and used quadruple blinding of participants, care providers, investigators, and outcome assessors. Its primary endpoint was the regulator-accepted lipid measure LDL cholesterol, and all four AZD0780-versus-placebo comparisons were statistically significant in the favorable direction (p<0.001).

HRS-1301
Developed by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals and partners
NCT06857253 · Phase 1 · completed
This is a real randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study, which is a solid design, but its primary measure is adverse-event safety monitoring rather than a cholesterol or cardiovascular outcome, and results have not been posted yet.
