Head-to-head evidence
AV-1959R vs CM383
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

AV-1959R
Developed by Nuravax, Inc.
NCT06831812 · Phase 1 · completed
The trial was randomized and blinded with a placebo comparator, but it enrolled only 16 people in total, with as few as two per placebo group, and it was designed to test safety and antibody response rather than a disease outcome. No serious adverse events occurred in any group, but the very small numbers mean the safety comparison cannot rule much out.

CM383
Developed by Keymed Biosciences
NCT06412185 · Phase 1 · status unknown
This is a randomized, blinded, placebo-controlled study, but it is an early safety study in healthy volunteers rather than patients, and its primary measured outcome is safety rather than a disease outcome. Results have not yet been posted.
Next expected readout: December 2026 · NCT06619613 (registry estimate)
