Head-to-head evidence
ALZ-101 vs AV-1959R
Same mechanism, same race: design-graded trial evidence for both assets, with the grading rationale shown. Grades describe the quality of the evidence, never the merits of either security.

ALZ-101
Developed by Alzinova AB
NCT05328115 · Phase 1 · completed
Most of the trial was randomized and blinded against placebo, but the highest-dose group was given openly rather than blinded, and only 33 people took part. Registry results were not posted at the time of grading; the key result shown was recovered from the cited external source.
Reports Part A of the trial (26 randomised participants), fewer than the trial's registered enrollment of 33.
AV-1959R
Developed by Nuravax, Inc.
NCT06831812 · Phase 1 · completed
The trial was randomized and blinded with a placebo comparator, but it enrolled only 16 people in total, with as few as two per placebo group, and it was designed to test safety and antibody response rather than a disease outcome. No serious adverse events occurred in any group, but the very small numbers mean the safety comparison cannot rule much out.
Next expected readout: June 2029 · NCT07827768 (registry estimate)
